The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN.

You will have responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures and pass instruments to surgeon and his/her assistants.

Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation.

Requirements
  • Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Previous experience preferred
