We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Gaudenzia. As a healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients and supporting their journey towards recovery.
Responsibilities- Conduct initial nursing assessments for clients within 24 hours of admission, adhering to established program policies and state regulations.
- Arrange appointments with healthcare providers to secure physical examinations, health screenings, and necessary tests.
- Administer medications and supervise self-administered medications, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of medical supplies and inventory, adhering to governing regulations and agency policies.
- Counsel clients on nutrition, healthcare, self-care, and symptom management.
- Ensure clients have appropriate medical coverage for safety, adequate care, and provider compliance.
- Implement health seminars on topics such as HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, and infectious diseases.
- Participate in treatment and multidisciplinary team meetings, as directed.
- Implement and ensure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
- Provide education to clients on health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
- Maintain LPN license with good standing.
- Required to work weekends at least once a month, including one off-shift per week, to ensure program coverage.
- May be required to work shifts outside of assigned shifts during critical staffing shortages.
- The minimum holiday requirement is 1 major summer holiday and 1 major winter holiday.
- This position is deemed essential and will be required to work during inclement weather.
- For Gaudenzia sites with multiple programs, you may be required to work in any of the programs based on staffing needs.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Must have a good standing license (LPN or RN) valid in the state in which clinical will practice.
- Must also possess current CPR Certification.
- New Grads and Newly Licensed LPNs and RNs are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
