Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to split their time between our Great Neck and Greenvale clinics. Our clinics have a well-trained support staff and state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one treatment to patients
  • Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, and prevent occupational dysfunction
  • Custom splint fabrication for patients
  • Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention
  • Develop and guide plans of care that encourage compliance and produce the best results for patients
  • Evaluate the effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
  • Treat patients of all ages and have experience with sensory integration

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist program graduate
  • NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible
  • Minimum 1-2 years of practicing OT experience
  • Certifications required: CPR/First Aid
