We are seeking a motivated and passionate Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a pediatric population and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one treatment to patients
  • Develop and implement individually designed programs of occupational treatment
  • Customize splint fabrication for patients
  • Perform and document initial exams, evaluating patient data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis
  • Evaluate the effects of treatment and adjust plans to achieve maximum benefit
  • Treat patients of all ages and have experience with sensory integration

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist Program Graduate
  • NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide care and treatment to patients based on physician care plans, agency policies, and professional standards of care
  • Instruct family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in physical therapy techniques
