Compensation:
Average Annual Salary: $48,000-$54,000
Hourly Pay: $23.08-$25.96/hour, based on experience
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours per week
Typical Work Week: 40 hours
Annual salary increases based on performance

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Typical hours: 8am-5pm, with flexibility based on business needs
Most work is performed indoors in our shop, with some off-site work at customer locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative and necessary maintenance on semi-trailers.
- Interpret and follow work orders and technical manuals.
- Maintain schedules and document completed preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specifications and safety regulations.
- Organize parts and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with DOT inspections.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience specifically working on semi-trailers.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with brake systems.
- Experience managing a preventative maintenance program for semi-trailers.
- DOT medical card required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Knowledge of air, electronic, braking, and suspension systems, as well as general mechanical operations and light body repair.
- Familiarity with FHWA and FMCSR inspections.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds (primarily tires).
- Must possess own tools.
- Valid and current US driver's license required; no CDL necessary.
