Trailer Mechanic Job Description

XTRA Lease is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all XTRA Lease equipment, including trailers and brakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair trailer and brake systems
  • Perform safety and legally required inspections
  • Maintain parts and yard organization
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working on trailers
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working on brakes
  • Must be qualified to complete FHWA inspections
  • Must have a valid and current driver's license
