Our Salt Lake City facility is seeking a dedicated Folding Carton Production Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the production process by operating and maintaining folder/gluer machines to create high-quality folding cartons that meet customer specifications.
Your ImpactAs a Folding Carton Production Specialist, you will contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional products and service. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production, maintain equipment integrity, and uphold quality standards.
A Day in the Life Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and set up folder/gluer machines for various carton types.
- Operate and monitor machines to produce high-quality cartons according to specifications.
- Read and interpret scheduling software to define machine setups.
- Collaborate with catchers and other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance.
- Identify and report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, communicate effectively, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with folding equipment in the paperboard industry.
