Bistro Server

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Bistro Server to join our team at Hollander Hospitality. As a Bistro Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash handling procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for guests
• Manage cash handling procedures, including operating a Point of Sale system
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Prepare and serve food and beverages, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of culinary or related food-handling experience preferred
• Valid Food Handlers Permit required
• Valid Alcohol Server Permit (optional)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure

Physical Requirements:

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, grasp, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly. The position also requires the ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours to move around the bistro area transporting food items on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
