Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the safe and effective delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, evaluate, and revise plans of care to meet patient needs and goals.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy and standards of practice.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to non-licensed staff as needed.
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care, including education and support.
- Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with the care team to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIHSS certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
