The Role: As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in our primary care team, working closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include providing routine check-ups, conducting medical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.">
  3. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.">
  4. Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.">
  5. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record system.">
  6. Consult with and adhere to Blue KC Medical Policies regarding coverage and medical necessity.">

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong foundation in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a primary care setting. You must also hold current licensure in Kansas and Missouri, as well as BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Additionally, you will need to maintain licensures and certifications throughout your employment and meet all requirements to provide services under Spira Care's provider agreement with Blue KC.
