Key Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate retail property risks to determine profitability;
- Identify and select new business opportunities to secure underwriting profits;
- Oversee renewals and implement corrective actions to enhance profitability;
- Liaise with management and leadership regarding specific accounts and operational matters;
- Cultivate relationships with producers while monitoring overall profitability;
- Analyze competitors' forms and pricing strategies;
- Provide training and support to team members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in retail property underwriting;
- Familiarity with large accounts is preferred;
- Excellent technical skills and strong communication capabilities;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable team player;
- Willingness to travel, approximately 25% of the time;
