Position Overview:
The Nighttime Laundry Specialist is responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of pristine linens for the hotel.

This role encompasses all phases of linen management, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading (washers, dryers, and chutes), as well as ironing, folding, storing, and delivering during overnight shifts.

Additionally, this position involves maintaining cleanliness of laundry equipment and the surrounding area.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.

Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.

Quick and accurate evaluation and selection of alternative actions is essential.

Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity.

Job Duties:
Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with company standards, adapting to the hotel’s scheduling needs.


Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty (as per brand standards).

Adhere to all company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.

Maintain a friendly, helpful, and courteous demeanor towards guests, management, and fellow staff members at all times.

Understand the operation of laundry machines and dryers.

Wash and dry all soiled linens, towels, and rags as directed by management.

Daily cleaning of dryer filters and maintenance of all equipment as trained.

Operate irons according to standards and ensure they are turned off at the end of the shift.

Fold linens and towels and stock linen carts as necessary.

Consistently practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of guests and fellow employees.

Sweep and mop laundry floors, ensuring all linens are stored off the ground.

Familiarize oneself with all company policies and house rules.

Remove and sort soiled linens and towels from laundry carts.

Keep laundry carts clean and free from debris.

Maintain a tidy work environment.

Attend meetings as required by management.

Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Compensation Range:
Minimum: USD $16.00/Hr.

Midpoint: USD $17.57/Hr.

Maximum: USD $21.08/Hr.
