Caregiver Lead

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver Lead to join our team. As a key member of our senior care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and services to our residents, while also leading and mentoring our care staff.
- Supervise and Support: Provide supervisory support to our care staff, including taking attendance, managing call-offs, and responding to shift requests.
- Resident Care: Support our care staff in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services to our residents, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
- Documentation: Accurately document care and services provided to our residents, and review care manager documentation throughout the shift.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sunrise's Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, and monitor team member break schedules and durations.
- Leadership: Display and encourage flexibility in work schedules, and participate in crossover meetings to share and receive pertinent information with other Lead Care Managers.
- Education: High School diploma or GED strongly preferred and may be required per state regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors and a desire to serve and care for seniors.
- Certifications: Medication Management Certificate required, and ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
- Skills: Ability to read, write, communicate effectively with care managers, community managers, residents, and family members.
