Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Laramar. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including make-readies and general repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
  • Assist the Service Manager with inventory management and ensure timely completion of service requests
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, and vendors
  • Participate in a preventative maintenance program to ensure the physical condition of our communities meets company standards

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in community management maintenance or a related trade
  • Basic to intermediate plumbing, sheetrock, and general carpentry skills
  • Basic to intermediate electrical skills (when a license is not required)
  • Ability to read and write English for safety and productivity reasons
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
  • EPA certification Type I and II
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 9 feet or greater
