Job Title: GIS Analyst

We are seeking a talented GIS Analyst to join our team at Roadway Asset Services, LLC. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in collecting and analyzing large volumes of sensor data and imagery to assess the condition of roads across the United States.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in GIS data analysis, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving. You will work closely with our Sr. Engineer to process needed data for project delivery, including developing and documenting standard procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and create databases and shapefiles of project results using QGIS and ArcGIS Pro
  • Create online content through ESRI ArcGIS Online and Power BI
  • Process and evaluate pavement and ROW data from the collection process
  • Operate the Roadway Asset Collection (RAC) vehicle on a rotational basis
  • Analyze pavement conditions using the PCI system (ASTM D6433)
  • Develop pavement maintenance recommendations
  • Write project reports using the Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, GIS, or similar field of study preferred

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
