Remote GIS Position Overview

Job Description

A talented GIS analyst is needed for a remote position at Roadway Asset Services, LLC (RAS). We collect and analyze large volumes of sensor data and imagery to assess road conditions across the United States. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who solves problems, insists on quality work, and presents solutions to clients.

This role involves updating databases, creating shapefiles, and processing pavement and ROW data with QGIS and ArcGIS Pro. You will also create online content using ESRI ArcGIS Online and Power BI, operate the RAC vehicle, and work with a Sr. Engineer to process project results.

We offer an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, nine paid holidays per year, and 120 hours of paid time off.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in engineering, GIS, or a related field, and proficiency in QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, and other relevant tools.
