Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will assist registered pharmacists with order entry, preparation, and distribution of medication under their supervision. You will also maintain inventory of drug supplies and implement a system of control to ensure the integrity of purchases, control of supplies, and proper accounting for their distribution.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Working on Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of Pharmacy experience preferred, including preparation of IV solutions
