Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive support for C4ISR DREN Linux Systems.
2. Oversee the management of the C5ISR Linux-based DNS Server, ensuring the creation and maintenance of a CentOS/Linux baseline across the campus.
3. Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to conduct thorough network vulnerability assessments on tactical networks during the testing and certification phases.
4. Offer Subject Matter Expert (SME) recommendations to achieve customer objectives through effective security measures, system administration, and enterprise Linux deployments.
5. Deliver system administrator support for additional enterprise services within the network operations center, including SAN, virtualization, and Windows servers.
6. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in Linux systems, with a strong background as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Puppet for command configuration management and Spacewalk/Satellite for graphical web interface configuration management.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols.
- Familiarity with information security and authorization profiles.
- Proficient in server management and system configuration monitoring.
- Capable of developing and implementing server backup procedures.

Clearance:
Current DoD Secret level security clearance required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related Engineering or Technical discipline is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
