The Opportunity

Are you a skilled IT professional looking to leverage your technical expertise to drive business success? Do you have a passion for designing and implementing innovative systems solutions? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex IT systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements
  • Develop and implement system integration and testing strategies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in IT systems administration
  • 1+ years of experience in system virtualization and management
  • 1+ years of experience in an Information Security focused role
  • 1+ years of experience with installing and configuring routers and switches, firewalls, and unified communications manager
  • 1+ years of experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers and networking equipment
  • Ability to implement and troubleshoot secure network connectivity protocols
  • Ability to work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Assurance
  • Security+ Certification and an Operating System Certification
Nice to Have
  • Experience in Magicraw, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, and HBSS
  • Experience with using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Visio
  • Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux or CentOS
  • Experience with High-Performance Computing or GPU Computing
  • Experience with DMZ Design and Implementing
  • Experience in IA Package and SysML
  • Ability to write documentation for the Information Systems knowledge base
  • Ability to be eager and willing to learn new skills and technologies on the job
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent customer service skills
