About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at WestRock's Corrugated Packaging Division in Devens, MA. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing resolution to mechanical and electrical problems of machinery and completing scheduled preventative maintenance to keep our plant running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all company standards and customer commitments (safety, quality, production, cost, on-time delivery) are met.
  • Enforce plant safety regulations and encourage employees to become safety conscious.

Requirements:

  • Basic working knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electricity.
  • A willingness to obtain your Fireman's license at our expense.
  • Licensed Electricians with strong trouble shooting skills are highly valued.
  • Industrial Experience required, Corrugated experience is a plus.
  • Experience with BHS Equipment highly preferred.
  • Available to work off shift and weekends.
  • Strong focus on Safety and Quality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
