Motivated Learners LLC is a premier provider of behavioral therapy services focused on enhancing the lives of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our mission is to offer high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that foster skill development, independence, and overall quality of life.
Role Description:
We are in search of a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Intervention Specialist to provide individualized therapy sessions for clients with ASD and other developmental challenges. The selected individual will implement behavior intervention strategies as outlined by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to facilitate positive behavioral changes and promote skill acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized ABA therapy sessions tailored to each client's treatment plan.
- Execute behavior intervention techniques under the guidance of a BCBA.
- Accurately document and track client progress throughout therapy sessions.
- Employ positive reinforcement methods to encourage constructive behaviors while minimizing challenging actions.
- Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members to ensure effective treatment consistency.
- Engage in team discussions and case evaluations to review client progress and adapt treatment strategies.
- Uphold client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and professional practices.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related discipline.
- Required certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or in the process of obtaining.
- Experience with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel to client locations as necessary.
