### Overview

At St. Joseph Medical Center, we're proud to offer a unique opportunity for a Surgical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our medical practitioner team, you'll play a vital role in providing surgical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective completion of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

### Responsibilities

* Provide surgical care to patients, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other designated personnel to ensure a safe and effective operating environment.
* Perform intra-operative duties, utilizing sterile and aseptic technique, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate a physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic procedures.

### Qualifications

* Graduation from a surgical technology program accredited through the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST).
* Current certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
