About the Role:
This is a full-time year-round position at Amangiri, responsible for providing exceptional maintenance services to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry, to ensure the upkeep of our facilities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment, including heating and cooling systems, pool and spa equipment, and wood-burning and gas fireplaces.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the grounds, including snow removal, garbage pickup, and landscaping.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records and logs of maintenance activities and tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Engineering & Security to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance-related field.
- Certifications: EMR certification preferred or ability to obtain one.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical Demands: This position requires sustained standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting of potentially heavy loads, sitting, twisting, etc., and working in various climates, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
