Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Safety Professional to join our team at Press-Seal Corporation. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in environmental regulations and policies to create a safer, healthier work environment.

About the Role
  • This dynamic position involves ensuring our workplace is compliant with safety standards and a model of efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • You will be responsible for preparing and submitting comprehensive quarterly reports on EHS metrics and activities.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
  1. Quarterly Reports: Prepare and submit comprehensive quarterly reports on EHS metrics and activities.
  2. Administrative Amendments: Handle administrative tasks related to EHS, including policy updates and documentation management.
  3. Safety Incident Review: Review safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  4. OSHA Reporting: Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including timely reporting and documentation of workplace incidents.
  5. Continuous Improvement Projects: Participate in and lead CI projects aimed at enhancing workplace safety and efficiency.
  6. Inspection and Compliance: Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential safety, health, and environmental risks.
  7. Training and Development: Prepare and deliver training sessions on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
  8. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of safety data sheets, hazardous waste discharges, employee exposure to pollutants, and environmental permits.
  9. Incident Investigation: Oversee the investigation of incidents, ensuring thorough documentation, root cause identification, and implementation of long-term corrective actions.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and internal safety standards.
Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
