Job Description:

The Resident Care Associate will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting independence and enhancing their overall well-being.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Implement individualized care plans developed in collaboration with the Resident Care Director.
  • Document daily care activities, including services provided and notable events or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving care practices and processes.
  • Complete all required training and certifications, including CPR and First Aid.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling resident information.
  • Uphold a professional demeanor, demonstrating respect, empathy, and kindness towards residents, colleagues, and family members.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Other duties may be assigned based on business needs and priorities.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a compassionate disposition and willingness to serve seniors.
  • Prior experience not required; training and certification provided.
  • Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.
  • State-specific certification or willingness to obtain Direct-Care certification.
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain according to company policy.
  • Respectful communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, to meet resident care needs.
