Job Title: Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to lead our Estimating and Project Planning services for the region. The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice President of Preconstruction to manage the regional preconstruction department, focusing on allocating resources, project strategies, and maintaining a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement preconstruction strategies for assigned projects.
  • Provide support to business sales, team sales, and presentations.
  • Manage risk and ensure sound financial deals.
  • Drive cost leadership and oversee estimate preparation.
  • Direct and review the work of Estimating Engineers, Conceptual Estimators, and Senior Estimators.
  • Ensure client satisfaction during preconstruction and attend sales presentations.
  • Enforce and support project planning and logistics with other teams.
  • Manage successful client relationships and continuously develop staff through mentoring and coaching.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and motivate colleagues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
