Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team at AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing a wide range of vehicle repair issues and identifying performance problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose vehicle automotive systems to identify repair needs.
  • Transmission Expertise: Remove and reinstall transmission systems with precision and accuracy.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist other technicians in performing technical activities and provide support as needed.
  • Communication: Clearly explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with new technical information, equipment, tools, and repair techniques to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Professionally record findings to ensure accurate repair cost estimates.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years' experience working as a General Automotive Technician.
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license.
  • Professional Tools: Own professional-grade tools to service general repair needs.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Experience troubleshooting and conducting mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing.
  • Shop Knowledge: Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
