Key Responsibilities:

The Upper Extremities Sales Associate will closely collaborate with Sales Representatives in the designated area to rapidly acquire knowledge of the medical device sector and the Upper Extremities market, contributing to the expansion of this segment within the assigned territory.

Engage in all facets of the sales process alongside Sales Representatives, including but not limited to, assisting in surgical cases within the territory, promoting products within assigned accounts, constructing product sets, managing inventory, and progressively converting customers to Stryker.

Participate in surgeries utilizing Stryker Upper Extremities products, ensuring availability for surgical use and providing guidance to surgeons on product application and features.

Educate and inform healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, about the proper usage and maintenance of Stryker products, as well as updates and changes to the product line and educational initiatives.

Collaborate with sales teams to reach out to customers, identify sales opportunities, deliver exceptional customer service, and strengthen customer relationships.

Assess the needs of potential clients in conjunction with the assigned Sales Representative and formulate suitable responses.

After comprehensive product training, customize Stryker's promotional messaging based on customer insights, advise on optimal product selection, address inquiries regarding product functionality, and differentiate Stryker products from competitors.

Conduct field visits for assigned accounts and territories.

Assist in the rollout of new sales strategies and effective marketing initiatives to strategically position the organization.

Collaborate with the Sales Representative and the organization to achieve and surpass business objectives (quotas).

Serve as the primary backup contact for Sales Representatives.

Develop a foundational understanding of the field, including regulatory compliance matters, and adhere to these standards.

Assist in resolving any issues or inquiries that arise within accounts.

Partner with Sales Representatives on inventory management and the establishment of appropriate inventory levels and sets to meet customer demands.

Support Sales Representatives in obtaining and processing Customer Purchase Orders (POs) for accurate invoicing. Maintain ongoing training in sales techniques and product knowledge.

Market the product line to clients, leveraging knowledge of functionality, features, and distinguishing factors that set Stryker's Upper Extremities products apart from competitors.

Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Participate in sales meetings and professional association gatherings outside of standard business hours.

Consistently uphold compliance and ethical standards (AdvaMed) by safeguarding the confidentiality of information; protecting organizational assets; acting with integrity; reporting non-compliance; and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess strong multitasking abilities, effective communication skills, a drive for achievement, a quick aptitude for learning medical and technical information, and the capability to build enduring relationships. A robust work ethic and competitive spirit are essential.

A Bachelor's Degree is required, with 1+ years of sales experience preferred.
