We are in search of a vital team member who will manage data and collaborate with various departments and supervisors. The primary responsibilities of this role include planning production and labor based on demand, current inventory levels, and forecasts, as well as sourcing packaging materials to meet production requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in production scheduling and inventory oversight.
  • Proficiency in MRP systems and Excel.
  • Capability to adapt to evolving conditions and resolve issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, monitor, and order packaging materials for the facility, utilizing MRP systems, Excel spreadsheets, and inventory reports.
  • Gain knowledge of various purchasing functions to provide support during team members' absences.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to manage inventory levels, especially during peak demand periods.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate reports to various organizational levels in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies for sample testing and facilitate research and development test runs.
  • Oversee and audit production orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile daily inventory reports by aligning physical counts with recorded data.
  • Manage daily inventory transactions, including transfers and receiving manifests.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Develop and manage efficient production schedules across multiple lines to optimize performance.
  • Adjust schedules dynamically to address unforeseen challenges such as delays and material shortages.
  • Forecast production needs to minimize inventory levels and avoid short shipments.
  • Collaborate with procurement and quality assurance teams to implement cost-effective strategies.
