We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls System Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining control system designs for our nuclear energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain project-specific functional requirements and diagrams for PWR and BWR plants.
- Design and implement simulation models using ACSL/Matlab.
- Perform and document design analyses using simulation models.
- Document SWIL Test Guideline documents.
- Support software implementation and testing activities.
- Interface with safety analysis, licensing, and other teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in control system design and simulation modeling.
- Strong knowledge of reactor kinetics, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
- Experience with computer simulations and programming languages such as Matlab and ACSL.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
