About the Role
As a Therapist-Recreational Music Specialist at Providence Service, you will coordinate and provide clinical programs and services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities in the acute Senior Psychiatric unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop programs to promote and contribute to the rehabilitation effort and to provide the patient and family/caregivers with the skills and resources necessary for successful communication/leisure reintegration after discharge.
- Coordinate and provide clinical programs and services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or a related field from an accredited college/university.
- Current certification with the American Music Therapy Association or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation.
