Senior Helpers of LA Beach Cities is committed to delivering professional in-home care services to seniors, enabling them to maintain their independence and safety in their own homes. We take pride in our compassionate approach to care and are seeking dedicated individuals to join our mission.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance emotional well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe living environment.
- Support clients with medication reminders and administration as needed.
- Assist with mobility, including walking, transfers, and exercises.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is advantageous.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing client needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
