Job Title: Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at STA of Pennsylvania, Inc.

About the Job:

The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating transportation needs for students attending the Pine-Richland school district. This includes managing daily routes, ensuring adequate staffing, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate transportation logistics for daily routes serving approximately 80 schools;
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports on complaints, accidents, discipline, routing changes, etc.;
  • Assist with billing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end requirements;
  • Implement driver recruitment programs to ensure sufficient coverage of daily routes and substitute personnel;
  • Ensure drivers complete necessary training and safety meetings;
  • Manage extra-curricular and charter trips, assigning personnel as needed;
  • Communicate with drivers and the community via two-way radios and landlines;
  • Be familiar with federal, state, and company policies, enforcing them as necessary;
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Terminal Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • At least 2 years of experience in an office environment; Logistics or school bus experience preferred;
  • CDL (or obtain within first 90 days of employment).
