Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Soliant in Roseburg, OR.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to gather information about students' communication abilities.
  • Administer individual and group therapy sessions to students under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Implement various therapeutic techniques and exercises to enhance speech production, language comprehension, and expressive language skills.
  • Support students in developing and refining social communication skills.
  • Provide education and support to students and their families on strategies and techniques to enhance communication beyond therapy sessions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
