ROLE SUMMARY
The Production Equipment Specialist will oversee daily machinery operations. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem solver with technological proficiency and prior experience in machine operation. We seek individuals who can work collaboratively to achieve daily objectives, contributing to the ongoing success of Trulieve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve proficiency in the setup, adjustment, and operation of all facility equipment.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and troubleshoot any issues identified.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all machinery is functioning correctly.
- Manage the operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of machinery.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and regulations.
- Ensure machinery is well-maintained and that the environment meets food safety standards.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as an equipment technician in an industrial setting or a similar environment is required.
- Strong understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong aptitude for mathematics, problem-solving, technology, and mechanics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Effective time management skills to drive efficiency and productivity, ensuring consistent achievement of goals and high-quality standards.
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent education is mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- A valid Florida Driver's License or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Completion of a comprehensive background check is necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be capable of pushing, pulling, moving, and/or lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. to a height of at least 5 feet and able to carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to work in both seated and standing positions as appropriate for extended periods, maintaining balance while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and using hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, and pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
- Must be able to handle organic materials daily, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and endure exposure to varying environmental conditions while wearing PPE.
- Must possess visual acuity with or without job aids to perform tasks such as reading, viewing a computer screen, and inspecting small parts/details.
- Must be able to communicate verbally at conversational levels with colleagues and vendors in moderate noise environments.
Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is available for this position. This role typically requires an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours work in case of emergencies.
