Job Summary: As a Diesel Mechanic at Waste Pro, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs and maintenance on all equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment
  • Communicate with managers/drivers as to issues with vehicles and discuss preventive techniques that minimize future repairs
  • Review and complete repairs identified on DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) and/or repair orders
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs
