Role Overview:

The Enrollment Coordinator will play a crucial role in facilitating the enrollment of eligible patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP). You will be the key contact for patients and their families, ensuring they understand the program requirements and advocating for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with patients and hospital staff.
  • Clearly communicate program details to interested patients and their families.
  • Act as a patient advocate throughout the enrollment process.


About the Patient Helper Program:

This program is designed to assist high-cost and medically complex Medicaid beneficiaries in affording employer-sponsored health insurance through an additional Medicaid benefit.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, or Psychology is preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant hospital experience is preferred.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with diverse individuals.
  • A proven track record in sales and healthcare is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Spanish fluency is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to be onsite regularly and adapt to patient needs.
  • Must successfully complete hospital credentialing, including vaccinations and drug testing.
  • Experience with Medicaid is preferred.
