POSITION SUMMARY:

The Intake and Stabilization Manager, under the guidance of the Director of Community Services, will lead the management of disaster response initiatives and financial coaching programs along with their respective teams. Responsibilities will encompass ensuring program compliance, enhancing policies and procedures, securing program sustainability through fundraising efforts, identifying funding opportunities, grant writing, and outreach strategies. This role will supervise staff in their daily operations and ensure that departmental objectives are achieved while adhering to approved budgets and contributing to the agency's mission and goals. The position holds authority over departmental personnel decisions and requires extensive knowledge of departmental processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieving strategic goals by overseeing program activities.
  • Setting job expectations through planning, monitoring, evaluating job performance, and reviewing contributions.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels and managing recruitment, interviewing, and selection processes in collaboration with the HR department.
  • Meeting financial targets by preparing an annual budget in coordination with the Fiscal department and overseeing program expenditures.
  • Ensuring program objectives are met by supervising service delivery and data quality.
  • Maintaining compliance with program objectives and funder reporting requirements.
  • Planning and reviewing compensation actions while enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the completion and maintenance of required reporting and data collection, including managing spreadsheets, procedure manuals, and policies in collaboration with content specialists.
  • Contributing to program sustainability through funding acquisition and grant writing.
  • Assisting the supervising Director with program and agency budget planning.
  • Analyzing program data for continuous improvement and assisting with overall agency data requirements.
  • Maintaining documentation of staff performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and regular team communications.
  • Coordinating special community events to promote the program and agency.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Preferred experience in non-profit or government sectors.
  • Minimum of 3 years in disaster response and/or financial coaching.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Awareness and sensitivity to culturally diverse groups and individuals from low-income backgrounds.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a professional office setting. The noise level is typically moderate.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is frequently required to sit, use a computer keyboard and mouse, and communicate verbally. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, bend, or lift/move items up to 10 pounds.
