Key Responsibilities:
The Operating Room Surgical Technologist is expected to exhibit proficiency in fundamental patient care principles.
Demonstrates essential skills in surgical case preparation.
Exhibits professional conduct as a healthcare provider.
Capable of serving as the primary scrub for all basic surgical procedures.
Applies the principles of asepsis and maintains aseptic technique effectively.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in a hospital setting or prior practical experience is advantageous.
Eligibility for Surgical Technologist registration through the Commonwealth of Virginia at the time of employment is necessary, with registration to be completed within six months of hire.
Basic Life Support certification from AHA is required upon commencement.
