Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team
  • Support the maintenance of a safe and sterile environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery – Certified (TS-C)
  • BLS certification
  • Registration with the Commonwealth of Virginia
