Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Strategy and Portfolio Management to lead the development and execution of our strategic plan in North America. This role involves shaping and driving the strategic direction of our product portfolio, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle from a commercial perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute the strategic plan, ensuring alignment with our company's overarching business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Tactical Strategy Implementation: Lead the tactical/execution plan process across all relevant functions, ensuring that departmental efforts are aligned and contribute to the overall strategic goals.
  • Portfolio Strategy Management: Manage the product portfolio's lifecycle, from strategic planning of new product introductions to the phase-out of end-of-life products, ensuring that all decisions are aligned and contribute to market leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Drive collaboration across functions (Marketing, Sales, and Market Access) to ensure all strategic initiatives are integrated across the organization.
  • Scenario Planning & Strategic Risk Management: Lead scenario planning efforts and identify strategic risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure portfolio decisions are resilient and forward-looking.
Requirements
  • University degree in business or scientific-related disciplines; MBA preferred.
  • Approximately 8-10 years of experience with a successful track record in leading commercial functions, including people management.
  • Previous assignments in Commercial or Sales are essential in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insights for strategic decisions and tactical focus.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and motivational skills.
