Chief Taxation Strategist

We're seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to take a leadership role in delivering high-quality tax services and collaborate with partners, manage tax engagements, and guide a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver Strategic Tax Planning Services: Oversee the planning, preparation, and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, partnerships, and individuals.
2. Provide Proactive Advice: Identify opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with current regulations.
3. Manage Engagements and Deadlines: Maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy while managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
4. Mentor and Lead Tax Staff: Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to tax staff and managers.
5. Collaborate on Business Development: Expand client relationships and grow the firm's tax practice through collaboration with partners.
6. Stay Current on Tax Laws: Stay up-to-date on tax laws, trends, and compliance requirements to provide proactive advice to clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license required).
• 8+ years of public accounting experience focusing on tax, including supervisory or management experience.
• Expertise in federal, state, and local tax laws, with experience serving both individual and corporate clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results.
• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office applications.

Compensation & Benefits:

1. A competitive compensation package ranging from $165,000 to $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
