Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

This salary range includes an estimated annual bonus, which will be based on individual performance and company results.

Job Description

The Chief Financial Operations Strategist will support the four division leads and 80+ cost center managers with budgeting, forecasting, accounting/finance, manpower tracking, capital investment, and other corporate tasks.

The successful candidate will manage a team of four associates and temps to achieve 100% of targeted spend and investment.

This role involves tracking and calculating ROI, IRR, and ROS for all activities within Parts, Service, Planning & Customer Relations, and Technical divisions.

The Finance and Administration department is responsible for monitoring and reporting financial matters for operations, including managing over $800M in inventory and over $4B in annual sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet ongoing accounting close cycles (accruals, billings, and adjustments) expense request, budget, and forecast deadlines.
  • Calculate and verify shopping cart charts used to gain approval from BUH's and Div Heads; AVP and SVP will use to ultimately present and gain CEO's approval.
  • Direct completion of monthly management reports, including corporate and internal management reports.
  • Budget preparation of divisional expenses throughout the fiscal year for each forecast.
  • Support 80 cost center managers in budget (on-going), purchase requisitions, and other finance and admin-related activities (Parts, Service, Planning & CR, Technical divisions).
  • Ad-hoc research and reporting that impacts the Parts P&L.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields such as operations management or math; or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a global/international company with experience and knowledge in Warehousing; distribution; logistics; dealership; service operations; strategic planning &/or customer relations.
  • 3+ years related supervisory experience in Logistics operations, Pricing, Strategy, Financial Planning, Accounting or related field.
  • Experience evaluating existing processes and recommending enhancements.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills (pivot table, advanced modeling skills).
  • Database query and parts-specific knowledge.
  • 3+ years of Parts, Service, CR, Strategy, and/or Technical business ops experience.
  • Planning & organizing with results-oriented focus.
  • Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Handle deadlines and work independently (self-starter).
