Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on SaaS solutions, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector. They will be responsible for:

  • Architectural Vision and Strategy:">
    • Develop and communicate a clear architectural vision and strategy aligned with our goals and market opportunities, with a specific focus on microservices-based architecture.">
    • Ensure architectural integrity and consistency across all products and services.">

  • Solution Design and Implementation:">
    • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance SaaS solutions tailored to the self-funded health insurance market, leveraging microservices architecture.">
    • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.">
    • Define best practices for microservices development, deployment, and maintenance, including service orchestration, API management, and containerization.">

    • Design, implement, and manage a microservices architecture that supports the scalability and flexibility of our SaaS products.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.">
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on SaaS solutions, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector.">
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance SaaS applications using microservices architecture.">
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices architecture.">
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA).">
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Work Environment

">

This is a full-time position, with a requirement to spend 3-5 days per week in our Atlanta office, with remote work permitted on an as-needed basis throughout the year.
