Speech-Language Pathologist

**Job Overview**

Soliant is a leading provider of specialized staffing solutions for the education industry. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school-based setting.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 per year, based on experience and location.

About the Role:

This is a full-time contract position with a minimum of 30 hours of guaranteed work per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
• Develop and implement IEPs for students with communication needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities
• Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Active California SLP licensure
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred
• Previous school-based experience is highly preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
