Job Overview

The Banquet Server plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service during events and special occasions at the Eden Resort & Suites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves and clears all food and beverages with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintains assigned tables and work areas in a clean and organized manner throughout the shift.
  • Assists in setting up functions according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO) with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
  • Reports any issues or concerns to management in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintains a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and staff, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

  • High level of professionalism and strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with other departments and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Customer service oriented, with a focus on ensuring each guest has an exceptional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one (1) year of banquet serving experience, with a preference for those with POS experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds with ease.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, with a focus on maintaining a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout the shift.
