Physiatrist Position in Neurorehabilitation

Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center in Spokane, WA invites a board-certified physiatrist with interest in neurorehabilitation to join a well-established physiatry group at a CARF-accredited, state-of-the-art acute rehabilitation hospital and PM&R residency training program.
This is a full-time position within a collegial group of 9 faculty physiatrists, 24 physiatry residents, and a comprehensive, interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
The physiatrist in this position will support delivery of world-class rehabilitation medical care in hospital and clinic settings, and serve an essential role in physiatry resident and medical student education.
Strong interest in spinal cord injury (SCI) or fellowship training in SCI is viewed favorably but is not a requirement.
Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
Opportunities to develop an outpatient clinical practice within the broader spectrum of PM&R scope of practice, in alignment with applicant interests and community needs.
Weekend inpatient call coverage is shared among members of the group (6-8 weekends per year).
Residents provide on-site 24/7 call coverage with attending available by phone.
Interest in teaching physiatry residents and medical students is required.
Eligibility for clinical faculty appointment at WSU Elson S Floyd College of Medicine and University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position.
