Hollywood Academy Teaching Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team at Hollywood Academy. As a Primary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young students and helping them develop essential skills for future success.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless curriculum delivery and maintain open communication with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Instruction/Education Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with established educational frameworks.
  • Present subject matter in an interactive and immersive manner, utilizing real-world examples to enhance student understanding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, ensuring timely completion of assessments and evaluations.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, creativity, and critical thinking.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop and refine instructional strategies, promoting ongoing professional growth and development.
Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning:
  • Establish a well-organized and safe classroom space that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a willingness to support individual needs.
  • Implement relevant policies governing student conduct, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to discipline and conflict resolution.
School/Community Relations:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents/guardians, fostering open communication and addressing concerns in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences, providing regular updates on student progress and offering recommendations for supporting their educational journey.
  • Contribute to school events and activities, promoting a positive school culture and community spirit.


Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and hold a valid teaching certification. A proven track record of successfully teaching primary school students is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment. Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
