POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • Execute the application of finishes on various components and assemblies in accordance with guidelines and established protocols.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, utilizing primers, polyester, urethane, and a variety of paint finishes.
  • Compile traceability documentation for FAA compliance.
  • Employ spray guns, hand tools, and measurement devices effectively.
  • Mix paints according to specified requirements.
  • Apply paint to surfaces with a focus on maintaining quality standards.
  • Adjust and maintain spray guns and painting equipment.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to general safety regulations.
  • Take responsibility for personal work and undertake related tasks as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. Experience in aircraft spray painting is advantageous.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position may involve exposure to dust, noise, heat, fumes, and liquids. Appropriate safety equipment may be necessary.
