About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and planning nursing care for patients in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that meets their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission
  • Plan patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems, and attainable outcomes
  • Plan for patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge needs as appropriate for the patient population
  • Function independently with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to areas, evidenced by adherence to policy, procedure, and competency-based assessment and no pattern or trend of problem
  • Handle/transports/stores/prepares/administers medications/solutions safely and in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures
  • Document accurately and timely
  • Reassess patient's condition, evaluate patient response, and modify plan of care accordingly and in a timely manner
  • Accept charge responsibilities and assign staff with consideration of patient condition and care requirement, acuity, and complexity of patient's condition
  • Maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for the patient and family

Requirements:

  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensed in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire (for specific units)
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire (for specific units)
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire (for specific units)

Salary:

$85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience
